Shared with Me
Shared with Me is where you access Projects owned by other ioLoop accounts that have granted you access as a Creator.
When another account adds you as a Creator, Projects you are authorized to access appear here. Your access may be granted to individual Projects or to all Projects through account-wide Publisher privileges.
Creators with account-wide Publisher privileges automatically have access to every existing Project and any new Projects created in that account.
Shared Projects remain owned and managed by the account that shared them.
Choose a Shared Account
If you have been added as a Creator to other ioLoop accounts, those accounts appear in the account selector.
Select an account to view the Projects available to you from that account.
Only Projects you are authorized to access will be displayed. If no Projects are available, the dashboard displays an appropriate message.
View Shared Projects
The shared Project list displays Projects available to you from the selected account.
Depending on the selected view, each Project may display:
- Project Name: The name of the shared Project.
- Status: The current operating state of the Project.
- Access Level: Your permissions for the Project.
- Compute Units: The compute resources allocated to the Project.
- Development Database: Availability of the development database.
- Production Database: Availability of the production database.
- Add-ons: Additional resources or capabilities assigned to the Project.
You can search the Project list, refresh it, and switch between list and card views.
Open a Shared Project
Select Edit Project to open a shared Project in the Project Editor.
The Project Editor allows you to view and work with the Project's Frontend, Backend, AI Agents, Integrations, Settings, Scale, and Publish areas, subject to your assigned permissions.
Your ability to modify or publish the Project depends on the access granted by the owning account.
A Project must be powered on before you can work on it. If the owning account has powered off the Project, it will be unavailable until it is powered on again.
Access Levels
Your access to shared Projects is determined by the permissions granted by the owning account.
Project-Level Permissions
Creators can be assigned permissions for individual Projects:
- Viewer: Read-only access to the Project.
- Contributor: Read and write access to the Project.
- Publisher: Read, write, and publish access to the Project.
These permissions apply only to the Projects for which access has been granted.
Account-Wide Publisher
A Creator granted account-wide Publisher privileges automatically receives read, write, and publish access to:
- All existing Projects in the owning account.
- Any new Projects created in that account.
Account-wide Publishers do not need to be assigned access to individual Projects.
These permissions are managed by the owning account. See Creators for more information.
Ownership and Billing
Shared Projects remain the property of the account that created them.
The owning account is responsible for the Project's subscription resources, active Project capacity, compute resources, add-ons, and related billing.
Sharing a Project does not transfer its ownership or billing responsibility to the Creator accessing it.
The owning account also controls Project availability. If a Project is powered off, its published application becomes inaccessible. After the Project is powered on again, the application must be republished to restore public access.
Your access to a shared Project may be modified or revoked by the owning account at any time.
If you need additional permissions or access to another Project, contact an administrator of the owning account.
