Connection ​

Block name: connectionasstring

Provides the name of a connection.

Connection Function Call ​

Block name: connectionfunctioncall

Calls a selected server-side method on the chosen installed connection and returns a deferred result. This block is typically used with promise blocks such as promisethen or promiseawaitret to wait for the connection response.

Output ​

This block produces an output value of type Promise.

Behavior ​

Generates server-side code that calls $io.system.connectionMethod(...) with the selected Connection, method, and named parameter object. The operation returns a Promise containing the Connection method result.

Provides the name of a server-side method for the selected connection.
